Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist
Katlyn Glena, PT

Katlyn is a graduate of Western University’s Master of Physical Therapy Program. She has previously completed her Master of Clinical Anatomy at Western University and her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Waterloo.

​

After graduation with her Physical Therapy Degree Katlyn worked in London, Ontario at the Thames Valley Children’s Centre. She then moved to Manitoulin Island and worked at the Manitoulin Physiotherapy Center for 2.5 years and finally settled in her hometown of Sioux Lookout Ontario. In 2019 she began working for local First Nations organizations and provided Physiotherapy services to adults and children in remote, fly in communities. She also started her own community based private practice.

Katlyn has 9 years of clinical experience in general orthopedics and pediatrics, and 8 years of experience in pelvic health. Treatment approaches include manual therapy (soft tissue release, mobilizations), modalities (acupuncture), patient/caregiver education, and exercise prescriptions.

​

Katlyn enjoys watching and playing many sports, specifically curling and volleyball. She has experienced many injuries herself and has gone through the rehab process several times.  She enjoys helping others on their healing journeys so they can actively participate in their desired activities and maintain their confidence and independence.

 

Katlyn is available to treat you on Tuesdays and Saturdays!
